I believe that the quotation from the Dead Poets Society means that expressing ourselves with poetry is a natural thing that is very important. I don't think this is true because I believe that music is a more effective way of expressing yourself.
The two common types of poetry that I found were song lyrics and rhymes in television advertisements. I believe that song writers use poetry in their lyrics because it makes the song flow better. The reason television advertisements sometimes use poetry is because it makes the product that they are trying to sell more memorable when it has been intertwined with a catchy slogan.

I agree with your point saying that music is a betetr way of expressing yourself than poetry.
With your point about poetry and advertising I also agree with what you said. Advertisments become alot more catchy when they have poetry.
