BOOK VS MOVIE

Today my task was to write about whether books or movies are better. There are many instances where books are better than movies and many the other way around.

A book I read a while ago called Eragon later became a movie. The book was very good and had plenty of action but was a disappointment in the cinema. They movie had parts of it made up to suit the short viewing time. Another famous book and movie was the Da Vinci Code. The Da Vinci code was a great book and was a much better movie compared to the Eragon movie.

I believe that books are generally better than the movies that are created with them. I would also recommend that if you watch a good movie that was based on a book you should definitely read the book.

Henry, I liked your descriptive words in your entry. You portrayed your views well I thought which was baked up by those exampes of Eragon and the Davinci Code. I havn't heard of Eragon the movie or book but I have heard of the Davinci Code and it's book. I know that that has been a huge hit and have always wanted to see the movie because people have said it was very good. I guess I have never gotten around to it.
I agreee with your thoughts in that movie's can miss out some things from the book because they need to pack it in to the running time. This can leave out good parts of it which means the book would probably be better if you were into all that.
Anyway Henry, I liked ya entry, couldnt't agree more with ya thoughts on that one!

Hey Henry,
I agree but i do rather movies to books because i am more of a visual learner, so i take in more imformation from a movie. But you should keep on reading the books anyway because it is good for your vocabulary and will increase the speed of your reading.
